We respectfully seek your support of the Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Herndon, Virginia. Our mission is to provide humanitarian assistance programs to military veterans, service members, first responders, their families and caregivers, and others in need throughout our community. We are guided by our motto: “Serving Those Who Serve Us – Leave No One Behind.”
Our committee, comprising veterans and military family members, addresses the increasing need for accessible programs, focusing on food security, housing, and PTSD support in Herndon and Northern Virginia. We collaborate with the Department of Veterans Services, the Governor's Office, and other non-profit organizations, including the Center for Veterans in Transition, Cornerstones, Cook FOR Vets, TEN TEN life, Women Giving Back, and Warriors Ethos, to deliver essential services.
We invite your donation and support for our annual charity fundraising events, which include our 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, May 22nd, at Herndon Centennial Golf Course, a Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee Fundraiser at the Armed Forces Mutual, a Joint Veterans Day event with the Town of Herndon, VA, in partnership with the American Legion and VFW, and our 4th Annual Clothing and Food Distribution in December.
